My Canon PowerShot A3400 IS Review
Look and Screen
Here is a classic compact camera from Canon, the mental front is solid, The buttons are placed well and easy to use. There are five colors(red, silver, black and gold) you can choose, the benefit of various skins is meet the needs of people who is particular about camera body.
To tell the truth, i don’t like the screen, Although the size is 3.0 inch as same as my old camera, But the resolution of Canon PowerShot A3400 is only 230K dots that is lower than other screen which has resolution of 460k dots or even 920k dots. I don’t say it is not sharp, but the sharpness can’t been compared with others.
How about the Performance
The image quality of A3400 is quite well at this class, it is not a easy job to find noise while the sensitivity below ISO 400. But the detail would be hard to gain after it, and even worse with ISO 1600 and ISO 3200.
We found the video quality unsatisfactory, Although most of camera at this price has the the same 720P video mode, But the Canon PowerShot A3400 is not well doing video shooting, The video looks a little poor.
The performance of battery is just ok, We can find the a lot of compact camera has the better battery that can beyond 180 shot of A3400 IS.

In a word, This is not the best time to order Canon PowerShot A3400 IS Camera, You can wait the Amazon come down on the price, Or the Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W650 is a good alternative choice.
